The abbreviation DELE stands for “Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera” and it is the official certification to prove your level of Spanish knowledge. DELE certicate is assigned by Instituto Cervantes in the name of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. It is widely recognised for companies and universities.
There are three levels of difficulty for the DELE examinations: 1. DELE Nivel Inicial Prove the competence in an elementary use of the Spanish language. 2. DELE Nivel Intermedio Prove the competence in a general use of the Spanish language. 3. DELE Nivel Superior Prove the competence in a proficient use of the Spanish language.
